Henderson Formey Early Learning Center

K-12 Education | 139,000 sqft | Savannah, GA | Completed 2025

In this extensive renovation project, I oversaw all construction finishes, which included tile, acoustics, flooring, signage, and paint. As a member of the architectural design team at Greenline Architecture, my goal was to transform the outdated early learning center into a vibrant institution filled with creativity and color. Every detail was meticulously addressed, including customized tile for the children’s bathrooms and cozy wood accents incorporated throughout each space. The color story played a vital role in our design, seamlessly integrated into various areas through painted wall accents, acoustic clouds, custom signage, and carefully selected classroom furniture. Utilizing programs such as AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop, we reimagined the floor plan to enhance functionality, particularly focusing on the 30-year-old bathrooms. We even had the exciting opportunity to custom design signage and acoustics in shapes that are sure to inspire creativity in every user.
